Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, bioinformatics, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough concepts
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape research for emerging tech sectors
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with venture capital partners to fund and incubate spin-off ventures
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible innovation deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech product development
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and investor pitches
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
