Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with partners in academia and industry
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders and board members on technology adoption curves
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolios and track ROI on future-tech investments
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech companies
- Proven experience forecasting technology trends with 5+ year accuracy track record
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, neuromorphic chips)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
