Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2030 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (quantum, AGI, bio-convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and startups to acquire cutting-edge IP
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to the board of directors
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers and engineers in future-tech methodologies
- Secure $2M+ in annual innovation grants and government partnerships
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough products/technologies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar foresight accreditation
- Prior experience scaling global innovation teams across 5+ countries
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for international stakeholder engagement
