Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market trends and competitive landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry shifts and disruption vectors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven risk/benefit analyses
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early-stage IP acquisition
- Monitor regulatory changes and ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong executive communication ability to translate complex concepts
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
