Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, Web3, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and pilot futuristic solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage innovation budget allocation for future-focused R&D projects
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across product and service lines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching innovative products in emerging markets
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech innovation ecosystem
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CIMS)
- Experience securing venture funding for experimental technology projects
