Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026+ industry disruption goals
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into enterprise ecosystems
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with business objectives and market expansion
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate regulatory, ethical, and competitive implications of future tech
- Drive innovation through cross-functional R&D initiatives and strategic vendor partnerships
- Present compelling technology narratives to stakeholders, investors, and industry panels
- Mentor a high-performing team of technologists and futurists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation roles with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, or biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and disruption analysis
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and managing $10M+ innovation budgets
