Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive tech adoption across healthcare, finance, and manufacturing
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (NFTs, Web3, neuromorphic computing)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation pipeline with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on long-term research initiatives
- Drive ethical framework development for autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and SWOT analysis
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
