Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify disruptive trends with 3-5 year impact
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for future tech landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Manage innovation portfolio budgets and resource allocation for future tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical trends
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) preferred
- Experience building innovation pipelines in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
