Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 industry predictions
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) and assess market viability
- Design cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting innovation
- Mentor a team of future-tech specialists and foster an experimental culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in scaling tech initiatives from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- Portfolio of launched tech innovations or published research
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation circles
