Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across company ventures
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and investment teams
- Build competitive intelligence frameworks for emerging tech landscape
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to C-suite and board
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Drive culture of innovation through internal hackathons and tech scouting initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or corporate innovation
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep understanding of exponential technology trends (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong network with academic and industry tech pioneers
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (patents, journals, conferences)
