Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 business objectives
- Lead market research and competitive analysis for emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, Web3, etc.)
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Present technology investment proposals to the board with ROI projections
- Oversee pilot programs for disruptive technologies in production environments
- Mentor cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and agile innovation
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Experience securing $5M+ in technology innovation funding
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
