Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Develop future-proof frameworks for ethical AI implementation and digital governance
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional teams from ideation to MVP launch
- Produce competitive analysis reports on emerging tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or AR/VR
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and disruption modeling
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
