Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across 15+ global business units
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology integration
- Conduct competitive analysis and market sizing for emerging tech markets
- Present technology forecasts to executive board with actionable implementation plans
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology investments
- Build and lead a team of futurists and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused technology strategies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (Harvard/MIT/TED)
- Experience scaling technology initiatives across Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Quantum, Google AI Ethics)
- Deep understanding of geopolitical/regulatory tech landscapes for 2026
