Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum-safe cryptography)
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members with executive-level deliverables
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government R&D programs
- Drive ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale companies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology journals preferred
- Experience with venture capital due diligence for tech startups
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating minimum 3 technology commercialization successes
