Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 breakthrough capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems (quantum, AR, bio-integrated AI)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats/opportunities in tech convergence
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through patent development and investor relations
- Author thought leadership for IEEE and World Economic Forum summits
- Ensure ethical compliance in autonomous systems and neurotech applications
- Mentor PhD fellows in emerging technology incubation programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (patents required)
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or climate tech modeling
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Certification in AI Ethics (IEEE or equivalent) and ISO 42001
- Published research in Nature or Science journals (2019-2023)
