Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact potential
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Conduct scenario planning for quantum computing, AGI, and neurotech integration
- Partner with R&D to prototype futuristic solutions in controlled sandbox environments
- Advise C-suite on technology adoption strategies and risk mitigation
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech innovations
- Represent company at global technology summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, biotech, or neurotech
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams of 15+ professionals
- Certified in Technology Foresight (TFIA) or equivalent methodology
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
