Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead discovery and evaluation of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, Web3, biotech)
- Develop innovation frameworks for ethical implementation of disruptive tech
- Drive cross-functional R&D initiatives with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing methodologies and emerging skill sets
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscape to maintain innovation edge
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in implementing emerging technologies at scale
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or decentralized systems
- C-level executive experience with strategic planning and portfolio management
- Strong background in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Experience mentoring technical teams in disruptive environments
