Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing and AI convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential post-2025
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling investment narratives for stakeholders
- Champion ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation standards
- Direct prototyping initiatives for next-gen human augmentation technologies
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends and societal impact
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Systems Engineering
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or VC-backed startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in regulatory landscape for frontier technologies (FDA, FCC, international)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex system interactions
- Demonstrated experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, or R preferred)
