Responsibilities
- Lead market research and competitive analysis for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present technology strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor junior strategists and foster cross-departmental innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching at least 3 breakthrough products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or sustainable tech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial acumen with budget management over $1M
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Certification in Technology Innovation Management (TIM) or equivalent
