- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate global tech trends and competitive threats
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Partner with academic institutions and government labs to shape tech policy
- Mentor next-gen technologists in emerging fields
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years strategic tech experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/blockchain)
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech
- Exceptional stakeholder management with Fortune 500 executive experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (e.g., Q#)
- Security clearance eligibility for classified innovation projects
