Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for market viability and strategic alignment
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps integrating technological, regulatory, and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and prioritize R&D initiatives
- Partner with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Monitor global tech ecosystems and competitive landscapes to maintain first-mover advantage
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and mentor an innovation taskforce focused on 2026+ technology horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or innovation roles within tech or consulting
- Proven track record of developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with tech focus
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) or innovation management preferred
- Experience building and leading cross-functional innovation teams
