Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026+ horizon, aligning with business objectives
- Analyze emerging trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster innovation culture and R&D prioritization
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Oversee prototyping of next-gen solutions in our innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized AI
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
