Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives and market evolution
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, sustainable tech) and assess commercial viability
- Develop scenario-based models for technological disruption and prepare organizational adaptation frameworks
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to co-create future solutions with internal and external stakeholders
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board with data-driven impact projections
- Establish KPIs to track technological readiness and innovation pipeline maturity
- Manage relationships with research institutions, startups, and industry consortia for early technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of anticipating and capitalizing on emerging technology trends
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, biotech, quantum systems, or sustainable energy
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent) preferred
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting (e.g., CFMP, CTP) required
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities with tools like Python or R
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders with compelling narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-focused initiatives
