Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation framework aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum applications, AI governance systems, carbon-neutral tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Build strategic partnerships with research labs (MIT Media Lab, Stanford AI Lab) and global innovation hubs
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact assessments
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author whitepapers on technological disruptions for industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Strong network with global tech innovators and venture capital ecosystem
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (IEEE, Nature submissions)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures to stakeholders
