Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead research initiatives on emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, decentralized AI)
- Design scalable architecture for next-generation SaaS platforms with zero-trust security frameworks
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate predictive analytics into user experience workflows
- Establish governance protocols for ethical AI development and deployment
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven narratives
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology incubation projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech specialization
- Proven track record leading complex digital transformations at scale
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or Web3 architecture
- Certification in futures forecasting (e.g., Foresight Professional) or equivalent experience
- Publication record in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with cross-functional leadership in matrixed global organizations
- Mastery of strategic frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Toffler's Future Shock)
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
