Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (2026+) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with research labs, startups, and academic institutions
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Drive ethical technology frameworks for future deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Portfolio of successful innovation projects from concept to market
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
