Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, generative AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints with MIT/Stanford research partners
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Secure $15M+ annual R&D funding through investor presentations
- Launch 3+ patent-protected technologies by 2026
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on future-proofing digital infrastructure
- Mentor a team of 15+ PhD researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership at top tech firms (FAANG/SpaceX equivalent)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum or AI systems
- Track record of scaling technologies from lab to market ($100M+ products)
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains: quantum, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Security clearance eligibility for government partnerships
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Arabic for global collaboration
