Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional task forces to evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Develop predictive models for industry disruption and competitive advantage scenarios
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify acquisition targets in emerging tech spaces
- Produce annual Future Tech Impact Reports for public and stakeholder consumption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven 2026+ roadmap execution
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, spatial computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACF/SFPS) or Technology Innovation Management
- Deep understanding of global policy implications for emerging technologies
- Portfolio of successfully implemented future-focused initiatives
