Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing emerging tech solutions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with competitive analysis
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and executive leadership
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
- Establish KPIs for future-tech adoption and ROI measurement
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record implementing emerging technologies at scale
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional stakeholder management across C-suite to technical teams
