Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech sectors
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and societal impact goals
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate technological disruptions and opportunities
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation maturity and ROI of emerging tech initiatives
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future tech adoption and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging technology assessment and adoption
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Demonstrated experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
