Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026-2030 market shifts
- Develop and maintain strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) for adoption potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with clear ROI projections
- Coordinate cross-functional R&D initiatives to accelerate innovation cycles
- Monitor competitor technology landscapes and regulatory developments
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven experience in emerging technology adoption cycles
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotechnology, or sustainable tech
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex tech into business strategy
- Certification in technology management or strategic foresight (e.g., CTO Academy, Foresight Practitioner)
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation journals
- Experience scaling tech initiatives in enterprise environments
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
