Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead market research and competitive analysis for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology vision to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in for high-impact initiatives
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for future technology incubation projects
- Drive ethics-by-design principles in all technology development frameworks
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future technology adoption and implementation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, sustainable tech, or AR/VR
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience with federal innovation grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate venture capital
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology forecasting methodologies
