Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate-tech solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and lead cross-functional innovation labs with academic and industry partners
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in scaling enterprise technology portfolios
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI governance, or carbon capture
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or government innovation grants
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong network with global tech policymakers and academic institutions
