Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum AI, biotech computing, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board with data-driven impact assessments
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups for early-stage technology adoption
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor technical teams on emerging tech best practices and ethical implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 industry-disrupting tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex technical concepts to stakeholders
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$1M with documented ROI successes
- Certifications in emerging tech (e.g., Google Quantum AI, AWS ML Specialty)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-focused technology strategy deliverables
