Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess market viability
- Lead innovation workshops to generate breakthrough concepts for future products/services
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage R&D budget allocation for future-focused initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting tech deployment
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investors
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting (e.g., CFCS)
- Strong network within tech innovation communities
