- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) for competitive advantage
- Present strategic technology forecasts to investors and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate innovation
- Ensure ethical implementation of disruptive technologies through robust governance frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD/MSc preferred)
- 7+ years experience in technology strategy or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in emerging tech ecosystems: quantum computing, AGI, or climate tech
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with experience building 5+ year roadmaps
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from Singularity University)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
