Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and climate-tech innovation
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive innovation through R&D investments and pilot program implementations
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record in developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate-tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and cross-continental teams
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Strong network connections with academic research institutions and tech incubators
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
