- Analyze market data and patent landscapes to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with business objectives
- Present visionary concepts to stakeholders through compelling narrative frameworks
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications for product development
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation roles within tech or aerospace
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting work for 2025+
