Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with organizational vision and market disruptions
- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, bio-digital interfaces)
- Conduct scenario planning for technological convergence and societal implications
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future-tech strategies into business operations
- Monitor global tech trends, patent landscapes, and regulatory developments
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders and investors
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-tech adoption and implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to commercialization
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning preferred
- Experience with agile methodologies and innovation frameworks
