Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and immersive metaverse ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs to secure R&D grants and talent pipelines
- Author thought leadership whitepapers on technological disruption and its societal implications
- Design and oversee ethics frameworks for next-generation AI and biotechnological applications
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy roundtables shaping 2026+ regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership with demonstrable impact on future-facing initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field; PhD strongly preferred
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies including quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized AI systems
- Portfolio of implemented future-strategy projects with measurable market impact
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Roadmapping from recognized institutions
- Deep understanding of global tech policy frameworks and ethical AI governance principles
