Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through patent analysis, academic partnerships, and competitive intelligence
- Develop strategic frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human-centric automation systems
- Present technology forecasts and adoption timelines to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and media engagements
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of scaling technology from concept to market (3+ successful exits/products)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or bio-hybrid systems
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 scientific journals
