What You'll Accomplish:
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in emerging tech adoption (quantum, AR/VR, bio-integration)
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and user-centric testing
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Develop future-proof frameworks for ethical AI and autonomous systems
Responsibilities
- Design and implement technology foresight methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with market impact potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic and industry innovators
- Create executive briefings on technological disruption risks and opportunities
- Manage innovation lab operations and resource allocation
- Present future technology roadmaps to C-suite and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven experience with emerging tech adoption (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Track record of launching successful R&D initiatives
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystem
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
