Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 industry trends and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough technologies in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology roadmaps and innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Drive ethical technology governance frameworks ensuring responsible innovation
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to secure multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and venture capital community
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
