Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and corporate vision
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state scenarios
- Perform competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech domains
- Author strategic briefs on disruptive technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure technology adoption readiness and ROI
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate frontier technology investments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, biotech)
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
