Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Drive R&D investment decisions in breakthrough technologies
- Architect cross-functional pilot programs for next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or CTO/CIO role
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technology initiatives
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Executive-level stakeholder management and board presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (IEEE, MIT Sloan, etc.)
- PhD or advanced degree in relevant technology field
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
