Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (2026-2030) across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen product development
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams in future-focused methodologies
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (demonstrated via published research)
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience leading cross-continental R&D teams
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong network with tech ecosystem leaders (VCs, researchers, policymakers)
- Portfolio of launched products/services with market impact
