Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech) to develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our innovation lab
- Present future technology frameworks to C-suite executives and major stakeholders
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech startups and patent landscapes
- Develop sustainability frameworks for future-proofing digital infrastructure
- Author thought leadership pieces on tech disruption and future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning with 3+ years focusing on future technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of developing 5-year+ tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience at executive/board level
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-tech initiatives
