Responsibilities
- Lead development of 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry trends and regulatory landscapes
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration) for commercial viability
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Present technology forecasts and innovation proposals to C-suite executives and investors
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget allocation for future-focused initiatives
- Drive adoption of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech practices
- Mentor junior strategists and foster cross-departmental innovation workshops
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in developing future-focused tech roadmaps (2018-2025)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills across executive, technical, and investor audiences
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
- Prior experience scaling tech initiatives from concept to market leadership
