Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruptors and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Analyze global tech policy shifts and geopolitical factors impacting innovation landscapes
- Develop patent strategies protecting next-gen intellectual property portfolios
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government R&D initiatives
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders securing $10M+ innovation budgets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven 5+ year roadmap execution
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D grants from DARPA, NSF, or equivalent bodies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex concepts to executive audiences
