Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing and AI ethics
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies (e.g., Web4.0, neuromorphic computing)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-tech into corporate strategy
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for prototyping and pilot programs
- Present strategic insights to industry panels and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from WFS or Foresight Institute)
- Experience with patent strategy and IP commercialization
- Strong network with tech research institutions (e.g., MIT Media Lab, Singularity University)
- Published thought leadership in technology journals
